KAMAZ AT THE INNOPROM. KAZAKHSTAN EXHIBITION

General Director of KAMAZ took part in the international industrial exhibition Innoprom. Kazakhstan which is taking place these days at the international exhibition center EXPO in Astana.

The Russian delegation led by the head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin also includes Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of ministries and departments, leading enterprises of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia. The purpose of the exhibition is to develop industrial cooperation, attract investment, expand trade cooperation and exchange experience. This year the event brought together more than 10,000 participants from 18 countries. On an area of over 12,000 square meters, there are products and projects of two countries in the field of mechanical engineering, machine tool building, chemical industry, metallurgy, etc. The exhibition is complemented by national expositions and companies from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

At Innoprom. Kazakhstan KAMAZ presented the cabless unmanned dump truck KAMAZ-6559 (Jupiter-30) designed for quarry work in autonomous mode. It was created for transporting loosened rock mass or ore using unmanned technology – without the presence of people in the danger zone of heavy-duty vehicles and excavators. “This year we are testing it at our training ground. From the first quarter of 2024, the vehicle goes to one of the mines and quarries in Kemerovo Oblast. It will work for six months in different climatic conditions in a real environment,” said KAMAZ’s General Director Sergey Kogogin during the exhibition. Also the company’s exposition displays the truck of the latest K5 generation and the ATOM electric passenger car project developed with the participation of KAMAZ.

Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov also presented the economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan to the heads of government of four countries – Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov. In particular, Minnikhanov spoke about the projects of KAMAZ PTC and the products of other top Tatarstan companies.
