KAMAZ Employees Will Go on Corporate Leave

4 August 2017

Employees of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) are going on a two-week corporate paid vacation which will last from August 7 to August 20.

Repair and service departments responsible for keeping equipment safe and efficient, maintaining building services, as well as part of the personnel engaged in accounting, forming taxation and other reports will continue to work in a usual mode. Units responsible for vehicle selling won't go on vacation either: in accordance with the company's business plan, a certain backlog of KAMAZ vehicles is created, and the sale of products will continue.

The time during which the main part of the personnel will be on vacation will be used productively in the repair shops of KAMAZ: repair and modernization of equipment is planned for these days. To improve the technological accuracy of equipment and reduce emergency downtime on the days of the production plan, the factories identified a list of equipment and formed a schedule of repair works.

It should be recalled that the company introduced a corporate leave as far back as 2010. The first half of the vacation is provided to employees immediately after the New Year holidays (this year, KAMAZ workers were on leave from 9 to 22 January), the second part is traditionally scheduled for the middle of August.
