During the Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Sakha, KAMAZ is presenting its products at the site of the single exhibition display of Tatarstan.
The Days of Tatarstan were held in Yakutsk with participation of Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aysen Nikolayev. The ambitious programme included a business forum Tatarstan-Yakutia, and also events timed to the 100th anniversary of Yakutsk ASSR.
“The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is our faraway, but very important selling partner. The interregional trade value is higher and higher every year. Trucks, tires, fuel are delivered from Tatarstan,” noted Rustam Minnikhanov during the business visit. The interregional trade value has over the previous years reached 4 bn roubles, he also reminded. “We are interested in cooperation with enterprises of petrochemical, engineering, shipbuilding, agricultural sectors, as well as in wider deliveries of food products,” stressed Tatarstan’s President.
Tatarstan enterprises and institutions demonstrated their products important for the region at the stand of the single exhibition display of Tatarstan in which KAMAZ took part too. The company’s stand showed a KAMAZ 65955-50001-92 vehicle and a high-sided vehicle with a truck loader crane UNIC URV554 on the chassis Compass 43082-H5 provided by the Magadan autocenter KAMAZ.
The AWD three-axle KAMAZ 65955 long-haul truck represents the K5 generation. It is equipped with a comfortable cab on a 4-point suspension with one berth, and its metal floor protection helps run on earth and rock roads safely. Generally, such vehicles coupled with tipping semitrailers, tank cars, and others are often used for transportation of hazardous, and construction cargoes. The KAMAZ-65955 tractor unit is also designed for transportation of 100-tonne road trains, and the fully loaded weight of the towed semitrailer is 88 tonnes. At the same time, the AWD truck boasts high cross-country performance: 6x6 wheel arrangement, all three axles are driving. The vehicle is equipped with an inline turbo diesel engine KAMAZ 910.12-450 (Euro 5). Tank capacity is 600 liters.
As for the Compass vehicle, this is a new product of 2022. The delivery trucks are made to operate in cities and suburbs, can be used for international transportations. The Compass chassis can carry a wide range of superstructures. For instance, the high-sided vehicle with the truck loader crane UNIC URV554 on the COMPASS 43082-H5 (4x2) chassis presented at the exhibition in Yakutsk is intended for loading, unloading, and transportation of various cargoes. The transported cargo can weigh up to 4,000 kg, the highest payload of the crane is 5,050 kg, the maximum outreach is 11 m. The high-sided platform is frameless and not covered, with metal drop sides. The dimensions of the platform are 6100x2470x600 mm. The vehicle is powered with a fuel-saving diesel engine generating 168 hp. The motor complies with the Euro 5 emission standard. The comfortable night cab was designed for a driver’s comfort.
