The production of KAMAZ PTC summed up the results of August and eight months of 2022.
Over the last summer month, 3,329 vehicle sets were produced, and in total since the beginning of 2022 – 28,610 units, which is 5.8% more than a year earlier (same period last year – 27,029 units).
In August, the engine plant produced 3,746 engines and power units, since the beginning of the year – 30,996 units (same period last year – 29,563 units). Spare parts were shipped in August for 2.74 billion rubles, for eight months – in the amount of 22.06 billion rubles (same period last year – 19.89 billion rubles). Despite exceeding last year's figures, the company will have to increase production rates until the end of the year.
“Autumn is traditionally characterized by high demand for trucks,” said Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ PTC. “Therefore, we are faced with the difficult task of increasing the pace of car assembly in order to meet all the needs of the market. In the spring-summer period, we did a tremendous job of reconfiguring production and adapting the supply chain to the new economic conditions. Today, the assembly line is steadily assembling trucks of both the K3 generation and the new K4 and K5 model range.”
