A batch of municipal KAMAZ vehicles was delivered to Saratov under an agreement signed at the Saratov Economic Forum.
According to the document, 50 KAMAZ vehicles in all will be delivered to Saratov. The first batch of 34 municipal vehicles has already been sent to the customer, 16 vehicles more are to be supplied later.
The solemn ceremony of special vehicles handover took place at the city's Teatralnaya ploshchad. Vehicle keys were handed to the top managers of MBU Sluzhba blagoustroystva goroda and MBU Dorstroy.
"Our task is not just to purchase new vehicles, but to put these vehicles into operation immediately. Problems on the roads and in the yards should be solved," said Governor of Saratov Oblast Valery Radaev having noted that the city should strive to be the leader in terms of cleanliness and beautification.
At the end of the event, Governor together with Mayor of Saratov Mikhail Isaev examined the purchased KAMAZ special vehicles. Valery Radaev sat in the cab of one of these trucks and highly appreciated its comfort. Reliability and technical characteristics of the vehicles will soon be assessed by public utilities.
