NEW HEAD OF KAMAZ FORGE PLANT

On August 2, Sergey Klenko, ex-General Director of Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov PTC, a subsidiary of the company in Bashkortostan, was appointed Director of the Forge Plant of KAMAZ.

For 38-year-old Sergey Klenko, the forge plant of KAMAZ is an enterprise where he has grown as a professional. Since 2001, Sergey Klenko had studied in INEKA for a degree in Machines and Fabricating Technologies. He was a student when he started working. At first, he worked at the press and stamping plant as a press operator of the 4th grade, then as a die press operator of Forge & Press Shop 3 (FPS-3) of the forge plant already. Having got his degree, he started learning a trade of engineering technologist in the department of control and analysis of technological processes. In these years, Sergey Klenko had to serve with the Armed Forces, after that he returned to the forge plant and continued working as an engineering technologist.

In 2010, Klenko headed the thermal shop of FPS-1, then managed the team introducing the KAMAZ Production System of the forge plant, in November 2011 took charge of FPS-1. In 2016, he was appointed Deputy Director of the plant for Production. In September 2019, the top management of KAMAZ offered Sergey Klenko to work for Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov. He worked there as Deputy General Director for Development to later take the position of General Director.

Aleksandr Chekh, who had been heading the forge plant since January 2021, will continue working at the engine plant as Deputy Director of the plant for Technical Control.
