New KAMAZ Service Center Is Opened

A new service center of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) was opened in the city of Kotelnikovo, Volgograd Oblast, to offer clients services of vehicle maintenance and sell KAMAZ vehicle spare parts.

Anatoly Vasilyev, Chairman of the Committee of Transport and Road Facilities of Volgograd Oblast, Sergey Ponkratov, Chief of Administration of Kotelnikovo Municipal Region, Igor Podgorny, General Director of GBU Volgogradavtodor, and other managers took part in the opening ceremony. Besides, the event was attended by the heads of farmers of Kotelnikovo and other regions of Volgograd and Rostov Oblasts. The vehicles of the new model range – KAMAZ-6580, KAMAZ-65201 Luxe dump trucks, and also a grain carrier based on a KAMAZ-65207 – were presented at the exhibition of KAMAZ vehicles devoted to the opening of the complex.

KAMAZ's service center in Kotelnikovo offers clients a whole spectre of services for technical maintenance of vehicles and special-purpose machinery, as well as an opportunity to purchase branded spare parts. There are offices, a retail store, a spare parts warehouse, a service center with a diagnostics line, a tire shop and a truck washing plant on the territory of 11 thous. sq. m.  

The service zone of the new center can accept up to 15 vehicles to be repaired simultaneously. A station of technical inspection with a throughput of up to 50 vehicles per shift holds a unique position in the complex. To add to this, a department of cars and trucks towing is functioning at the service center. 

"The new center will not only open up wide opportunities in high-quality and quick maintenance of KAMAZ vehicles and sales of branded spare parts, but also make a positive contribution to the economy of the region, create new workplaces," noted Anton Krivonos, General Director of OOO AvtoTekhTsentr, having thanked all who participated in the project implementation.
