Today, on June 9, the II Research and Practical Conference Efficient Supplies Arrangement according to E2E Principle. Development of Production Systems is being held with the participation of the auto giant's suppliers in KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation).
The event is devoted to elaboration of a strategy for development of the company's suppliers based on lean production principles and tools and is aimed at a higher quality of supplied components. There are representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, OOO Russian Register, NPO Volga Quality Center - altogether more than one hundred people from different regions of Russia and CIS countries - taking part in the event.
Greeting the participants of the conference, Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ, noted that today's meeting will enable to reveal potential for improvements at the enterprise, which is important under present-day market conditions. "Joint comprehensive improvement of supplies based on the E2E principle will enable us to lower the cost and, in the long run, to raise ite competitiveness on the market," stressed the importance of the event for the parties Sergey Kogogin, wishing successful work.
Top managers of KAMAZ PTC and experts of Russian companies delivered their speeches. On-line broadcasting was organized right from the conference hall of the automobile plant.
A visit to KAMAZ subsidiaries applying lean manufacturing principles is scheduled for the afternoon. They are warehouses of the suppliers and the Purchasing Center, as well as a vehicle assembly. Besides, the event includes a practical part during which the experts will be divided into teams of "working stations", the suppliers of vehicle components will train to use tools and methods they will apply working with KAMAZ to implement the E2E principle and optimize logistics processes between organizations. The joint work will result in a schedule of measures for the further development of KAMAZ PTC's suppliers.
End to End is a principle targeted at optimization of all logistics processes between suppliers and customers. E2E used in supplies helps to fulfill all industrial and logistics operations from a manufacturer to a customer with the least expenses possible.
