On the threshold of the New Year holidays, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC, addressed the company’s workers with congratulations:
Dear friends! Dear KAMAZ people!
In a few days, we will celebrate the New Year 2022. Since childhood, we remember excitement of this moment between the past and the future. We are waiting for it with hope, with belief in the best of the best. We are summing up results, making plans, with account of what has already been done, and are bravely intending to do a lot more.
Looking back at the outgoing year, I can say for sure that it has become successful for KAMAZ. The tasks assigned to the team were performed at the highest level, I believe. We overfulfilled the business plan, significantly improved the performance of the previous year, 2020. The current year will go down in history with many events and projects confirming our leadership in the Russian automotive industry.
During this year, we have been developing production facilities and our product line. One of the precious moments is that we have seen the result of the latest years’ work, and the customer highly appreciated our new offer – the KAMAZ-54901. Until recently, this vehicle seemed like a dream. Now, not only has it gone into production and entered the market, but also it has already achieved consumer acceptance and proved its efficiency for business. We’ve built a decent competitive world-class tractor unit. This success was achieved thanks to every KAMAZ worker because we all at our workplaces contributed greatly to the creation of this product.
There are already more than 2,300 such vehicles running on Russian roads. Next year we are to raise this figure several times. We will develop the K5 truck line, offering customers new versions of advanced trucks. The upcoming year has other interesting challenges in store for us. They include development of an electric bus line and design of products on alternative fuels, hydrogen fuel cell KAMAZ vehicles.
Dear colleagues! Today, summing up the results of the outgoing year, I sincerely thank you for your team spirit and solidarity, for your ability to work in difficult conditions of the pandemic, your deep understanding of honor and responsibility for the common cause. Thank you for your hard work and continued readiness to defend corporate interests, to implement our bold and lofty plans! Highly appreciating every KAMAZ worker’s contribution to the overall success, the top management of the company has decided to give the staff a lumpsum bonus of a month rate (salary).
Another year of our history has confirmed that we are united by common goals, a common desire to benefit KAMAZ, the republic and Russia, responsibility for their fate and the well-being of our families. I congratulate you on the upcoming year 2022! May the upcoming holidays fill your life with great happiness, give you an opportunity to communicate with the closest and dearest people! Take with you in the New Year all the most valuable things – good health, happiness, love, faith and hope, the experience of the past days, kindness and friendship. Spend the holidays with your family, gain strength and inspiration to enthusiastically start fulfilling new production tasks in January!
