Today, Sergey Kogogin is celebrating his 60th anniversary.
Sergey Anatolyevich Kogogin was born in the village of Bolshie Klyuchi, Zelenodolsk Region, Tatar ASSR, on the 16th of November 1957. He started his working career as a miller at Kazan Engine Plant in 1976. In 1977, he graduated from Kazan Aviation College and enrolled at the physics faculty of Kazan State University which he graduated from with a degree in Radio Physics and Electronics in 1982.
After various milestones in his work history, Sergey Kogogin was appointed Director General of KAMAZ PTC on the 26th of April 2002. Under his direction, the company jumped to a high position among the top truck manufacturers in the CIS and overseas. Sergey Kogogin used his vast experience of working at industrial enterprise and in public authorities to build up a new image of KAMAZ as a modern, client-oriented company.
