Russia's President Vladimir Putin congratulated the motor racing KAMAZ-master team on winning the trucks category at the 2017 Silk Way Rally and noted the Russian KAMAZ vehicles' unrivalled possibilities. The text of the greetings telegram was published at the Russian President’s official website Kremlin.ru.
The message reads, in part, “I sincerely congratulate you on the triumphant performance at the 2017 Silk Way Rally. Once again, you demonstrated your champion spirit and rightly conquered the entire pedestal. Your success is proof of the Russian KAMAZ vehicles’ unrivalled possibilities."
Besides, Mr. Putin particularly acknowledged "the excellent work of the rally organisers". The President expressed certainty that "such remarkable projects promote international cultural cooperation, and strengthen friendship and understanding between peoples.” He wished the team new achievements and brilliant victories.
The winners of the Silk Way are to come back home, to Naberezhnye Chelny today. They will be as usual welcomed by hundreds of fans, relatives, friends, representatives of KAMAZ and authorities of Naberezhnye Chelny, journalists at the Begishevo airport tonight.
