Chief Power Engineer of CHELNYVODOKANAL Was Recognized as Engineer of the Year

Sergey Dubrovsky, Chief Power Engineer of LLC CHELNYVODOKANAL, a subsidiary of KAMAZ, became one of the winners of the annual All-Russian Competition Engineer of the Year in the nomination Public Utilities, Consumer Services.

The winner was awarded a diploma, the commemorative medal Laureate of the Competition, and also the sign Professional Engineer of Russia. It is noteworthy that his name will be entered in Russia's Register of Professional Engineers.

Sergey Dubrovsky has been working in CHELNYVODOKANAL since 1996, from the time the company was established. He's been working at the post of chief power engineer since 2007. Under his leadership, the activities of all energy departments of the enterprise are coordinated, an energy saving program is being implemented to reduce energy costs, large-scale measures are taken to replace pumping equipment with less powerful and power-consuming, frequency converters are installed. Thanks to the realized measures, for the last five years the annual volume of electricity consumption has decreased by 23 MWh or 15 percent in comparison with the indicators of 2011.  

For the past two years, Sergey Dubrovsky has been heading a working group introducing an energy management system at the enterprise, which was formed under the UNIDO project aimed at the reduction of energy costs through organizational measures. Instruments of the energy management system enable to make accurate and reasonable decisions in the field of energy management.

In 2016 LLC CHELNYVODOKANAL developed models for five large objects: four water rotation blocks and a first stage pumping station of abstraction intakes. This year, it is planned to introduce elements of energy analysis into operational work.
