For four months of this year, the foundry of KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) has earned one billion roubles thanks to deliveries to outside consumers.
The good performance was shown due to a wider range of products, shorter periods of implementation, and quality. It should be noted that by the end of 2016 the foundry workers achieved the maximum value in respect of diversification products – 3 billion 150 million roubles, this year it is necessary to sell castings to the sum of 3 billion 650 million roubles. New outlets will be needed to solve the task.
According to Sergey Sych, Commercial Director of the Foundry, in the first run it is necessary to expand order packages of regular clients of the enterprise. "We offer them new items. All the more so because for now we've achieved significant results by mastering new products. Regarding certain items, we managed to reduce the period from nine months to one," Sych noted. "The same advantage is useful by negotiations with new clients. We are currently developing areas unusual for us – the building industry, lifting equipment production, carriage building."
The plant is already working with such enterprises as VelLift, Ran Сompleсt, Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant. "Foreign markets are not forgotten too. The enterprise is accumulating orders and mastering new products. For example, we've passed several stages approving the delivery of castings with Italian Orlandi and Czech Motorpal," Sych told. "And in the nearest future, the experts of the foundry hope to start experimental-industrial deliveries, and soon after that serial deliveries."
