KAMAZ PTC has summed up production results for December and the whole year 2017. Last year saw a 12% increase in production of vehicles, as compared with 2016.
The subdivisions of KAMAZ's single technological cycle manufactured 4,238 vehicle sets in December. In total, 39,525 units were made last year, which is by 12% more than for 12 months of 2016 (y-o-y). The engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA JV made and shipped their customers over 4.5 thous. engines and power units in December. In all, almost 42 thousand units of such products were made for a year (+10.5% y-o-y).
Since the beginning of 2017, KAMAZ's dealers, service centers, corporate and other customers have received spare parts to the tune of about RUB 23 bn (+39% y-o-y), including 2 bn last month. In December, diversification products were made to the sum of RUB 1.84 bn, and in all since the beginning of the year – for more than RUB 8 bn (+20% y-o-y).
